Activity 4:  Make a Globe Parent Prompt: Let’s make a globe! Instructions: Have the child make a globe using a paper plate and markers. Ask them to draw the continents, oceans and other landforms. Successful Learning: At the end of the activity, the child should have a paper plate globe with the continents labeled. Activity 5: Follow the Compass Parent Prompt: Let’s use the compass to find our way! Instructions: Have the child use a compass to follow directions. Ask them questions about which way the compass is pointing and how to get from one place to another.
